My developing practice philosophy is to provide my clients with respect and a nonjudgemental, empathetic attitude.  As a professional I will adhere to the six social work values listed in the Social Work Code of Ethics.  After having the opportunity through various classroom and community experiences to develop knowledge about different cultures, system levels and theories I better understand how individuals function in their environments.  My experience in the social work field through my practicuum has enabled me to encounter many different client groups and equipped me with a greater understanding of community resources, social policy and client advocacy.  It is my mission to unite my clients with the resources they need, advocate for people who need a voice and use each experience as a learning tool to further my knowledge, skills and professionalism.
